First time in a couple years I've been home during the show. Usually we're camping, or I'm shooting away from home. We live close enough to the airport that the jet-based shows (Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, etc...) pass right over or nearly over the house. I wish I'd had my camera out Friday when 4 Angels passed directly over the yard low enough that I would have needed a wide angle lens to get 'em all.
The 2 not-Angels were also part of the show, just at different times.
The heron passed overhead as I waited between sets. Freakin' amazing...
